In September 2008, Travis Barker, the former 182 Blink drummer had a terrible plane accident in South Carolina, accident in which four people have died. Even though this was a dramatic moment in Barker’s life, it turns out that, almost meeting death can really change people’s attitude.
In this case, the rocker felt like getting back together with her ex wife, the beautiful Shanna Moakler. The two were divorced since 2006 and have two kids: a boy Landon, 5, and a girl Alabama, 3.
While he was married with the former beauty queen Moakler, their marriage was the subject of a reality show on MTV, called "Meet the Barkers". After broking up with Shanna Moakler, Travis Barker had an adventure with the spoiled girl of USA, Paris Hilton. But despite their tumultuous life, during the recovering of her ex husband, Shanna stood beside him.
It seems that the accident and all that come after it, made them think about reconciliation, as the beautiful blonde tells to Us Weekly magazine: “We would like to renew our vows and have another wedding.�
So it is obvious that the two decided that when you almost lose someone you once loved, old feelings can come back and they can help reunite people. About their future remarriage, they affirmed that it is a symbolic gesture, a “Thanks God� he is still alive, especially since Travis’s totally recovering should take a while.
